About
My professional experience in art therapy has led me to work with a varied adult mental health clientele, both individually and in groups. As an adoptee myself from Vietnam, I have experience in working with transracial adoptees. I also work with individuals from immigrant and culturally diverse backgrounds.
I first studied music before turning to the visual arts. After completing my bachelor's degree in psychology, I completed a graduate microprogram in art therapy at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue, then completed my master's degree in art therapy at Concordia University.
I am currently working in Montreal, and with indigenous communities in Eeyou-Itschee and Nunavik.

My approach
My approach is:
-
culturally sensitive
-
trauma-informed
-
adoption-informed
-
centred-person
-
grounded in the present moment
-
creative
I also believe that humour can be a nice way to connect!
Together, we explore what you are currently experiencing. I guide you through a creative process that allows you to revisit your experiences, thoughts and emotions in a new light and to explore what resonates with you. In this way, art therapy can help you make sense of these experiences and integrate them.
